We loved Kiawah
We loved Kiawah, loved all the bike trails, loved the wide beaches. The property was  very comfortable; very quiet!
Perfect Home and Location
We had an absolutely wonderful week at 396 Green Winged Teal in Kiawah! The forecast end-of-week rain turned out to be only a couple of showers. It was hot and humid but we had a cool retreat when not on the beach or the bikes. The ceiling fans helped immensely in keeping the loft, downstairs, and screened porch at reasonable temperatures. The furnishings were nicely coordinated and comfortable and we had an overall spacious feel. The kitchen was extremely well supplied and has creative cabinets for storing food out of site. In fact we ate in all nights except for our day trip to Charleston. Loved the grill as well - a bigger and nicer version of what I have at home.

We rented four bikes for the six of us and they were in use constantly during daylight hours and even after dark in a few cases. In fact the bikes really made the trip special. My husband and I hadn't been on one in years and we took daily excursions around the resort, down the beach, and to Fresh Fields Village. The beach was huge and flat at both high and low tides, perfect for my daughter to skim board. A very short and open walk to the beach access.

The only issue we had with two people over 60 and four in their 20s, was the very tight spiral stairs to the loft. One daughter could not get her suitcase up it. In fact, I even called the other 3 the night we arrived with instructions to pack with multiple smaller bags rather than one large. Once upstairs the loft was a nice retreat and did not get too much noise from down below.

Would definitely go back again. Perfect home and location.
