Inside the Gate
The Island House, home of the Palmetto Room, Bohickets Lounge, and SeaView Terrace, offers spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Crooked Oaks and Ocean Winds golf courses. From the many windows and balconies, you can watch the dolphin jump or golfers come in after a day on the course. The Pelican’s Nest is located across the street from the Island House where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Edisto River, is open seasonally.
The Palmetto Room invites its members and guest to enjoy a relaxed, upscale dining experience with southern cuisine that focuses on fresh and local seafood and seasonal ingredients.
The Sea View Terrace offers al fresco dining with fabulous ocean views. With limited seating, a cozy gas fireplace for those nights with a chill, and an amazing ocean backdrop, the Sea View Terrace is the perfect place to dine while on holiday.
Bohicket Lounge overlooking the starting and finishing holes of both Crooked Oaks and Ocean Winds golf courses, is the perfect venue for members and guests to dine at lunch or dinner on fresh southern cuisine.
The Pelican’s Nest is located across the street from the Island House where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Edisto River. The Nest is open seasonally. Watch the dolphins or the sky turn bright orange as the sun sets over the coastal water. The Pelican’s Nest offers a full service bar, family friendly menu with selections ranging from pizza to daily dinner specials featuring the freshest ingredients, and a beach view that is unmatched in the Low Country. Catch the sport event of the day on the bar TV or kick back and enjoy the live music on Friday’s and Saturday’s between Memorial Day and Labor Day. And don’t forget Happy 1.5 Hour on Friday nights! Miss Lulu’s – 843-793-1577 – 1884 Seabrook Island Drive just passed Bohicket Marina – Miss Lulu is eclectic, fashionable, and a foodie. Visit this unique shop/eatery for great clothing, gifts, and food (sandwiches, bbq, and more…).
Lucky Luciano’s – 843-768-0210 – Known for delicious pizza and freshest toppings. Specialty pizzas, slices, subs, wraps and salads. Delivery on Seabrook. Limited seating.
Fischer’s Sports Pub and Grill – 843-243-0210 – Pub fare. Good burgers, patty melt, fish platters, sandwiches, fries, salads, and a casual menu. Always has current sports on TV’s, pool table and golf arcade game. No reservations. Cheapest hamburger around. Your teenage will love it! A local favorite.
The Ice Cream Boat and Coffee House – 843-737-5351 – Making smiles one scoop at a time! A great place to enjoy fresh breakfast or lunch and top your day off with sweet ice cream treats. Enjoy the beautiful views on the boardwalk at Bohicket Marina. Open year round and 7 days a week starting at 7:30am till 10:00pm. Call for seasonal closing times or place an order! Take a stroll after dinner with an ice cream cone while watching the boats come in from their day on the water.

At the intersection of Main Road and Route 17, if you’re off island and hungry, this great restaurant is worth a stop! Great for lunch or dinner.
