Welcome to the charming beach cottage at 1155 Summerwind. Relax on the expansive screened porch while you sip sweet tea and watch the golfers play on Crooked Oaks Golf Course. You'll love the convenience of this location - just 1 mile from the Beach Club, Island House and Golf Courses. If you're up for a stroll, it's a short walk to the Pelican Beach access to watch the sunsets or search for shells.
Once inside you'll appreciate the open floor plan with plenty of light and charming hardwood floors. High ceilings give an airy feel to the beachy vibe throughout. The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless appliances, Keurig coffee maker, new pots and pans and dish service for 12. There is an eat in kitchen table with 4 chairs and an additional dining table in the main living area with seating for 7. The great room has a wonderful sectional couch to stretch out on while watching the 55" TV over the fireplace. Sliding doors lead from the great room out to the awesome screened porch and deck that stretches across the back of the cottage and overlooks the golf course. You'll find the porch and deck ideal for catching sight of some of Seabrook Islands abundant wild life.
The master bedroom suite is spacious and features a king bed with en suite bath with granite vanity and hair dryer. There is a 32" HDTV with Netflix for your viewing entertainment. In case you can't quite leave work behind, there is a moveable laptop desk and chair for your convenience. The master bedroom also has a sliding door that give access to the screened porch.
The second and third bedrooms are on the opposite side of the great room. There is a full hall bath with skylight, granite vanity and hair dryer that both bedrooms can access easily. The second bedroom has a queen bed and sliding doors leading to the deck. The third bedroom features 1 full bed and 1 twin bed.
*Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.
- Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
- Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
- Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.
Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.
Amenity Cards are required to use the Seabrook Island Club and SIPOA Lake House facilities. This property includes access to the Club amenities: the Beach Club oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican’s Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage. The Club Amenity Card also allows access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool/no fees; indoor pool/fitness center/fees apply). Amenity cards are arranged through the Seabrook Island Amenity office.
Your (1) dog companion up to 50 lbs. is welcome in this dog friendly cottage; additional pet fees apply.

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
