Ready to dive in? Let’s do it! Here are our top picks for the best restaurants on Seabrook Island (and nearby!).

Saveurs Du Monde Seabrook

restaurant on seabrook island

Having dinner at Saveurs Du Monde is quite the experience, and one you certainly won’t want to miss. This Seabrook restaurant opened its doors in 2014 and has won several awards since then.

Saveurs Du Monde is French for “tastes of the world,” and many different international cuisines inspire the restaurant’s menu! Owners Thierry and Christiane Chateau traveled the world on a catamaran for many years and lean heavily on that experience now in the restaurant.

This impressive restaurant offers everything from traditional French onion soup to more unique options like Octopus a la “Gallega” and boeuf bourguignon. Our mouths are watering just thinking about the chef’s special desserts, like Profiteroles. It’s one of our favorite restaurants on Seabrook Island, and we highly recommend it!

Pelican’s Nest

Located at the nearby Seabrook Island Beach Club, Pelican’s Nest is a top choice for many of our guests. If you’re looking for a place where you can watch a stunning sunset over the Atlantic (and maybe even catch a dolphin sighting or two), this is it! Plus, you’ll have a delicious meal while you’re at it.

The full-service, open-air bar at Pelican’s Nest is quite popular. In the kitchen, the Executive Chef features new menu options daily, so there’s always something new and exciting to try! These offerings always showcase seasonal, local ingredients and seafood specialties. We’re getting hungry just thinking about it!

Café Eugenia

Looking for something fast you can take on the go? You don’t have to sacrifice quality when looking for a takeaway option, and Café Eugenia proves that!

This grab-and-go gourmet market serves locally sourced, high-quality meals that are meant to be taken on the go. They offer options like salads, sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie, coffee, beer, wine, and more—the menu is ever-changing! While everything here is good, we’re partial to their charcuterie boards. Take one along with you and have a beachside picnic!

Café Eugenia also caters for parties, so if you’re planning to host, they’re a great option. Let them do the work of making a charcuterie board for you!

Salty Dog Seabrook Island

lobster roll restaurant on seabrook island

Have you heard of the world-famous Salty Dog? We’re lucky to have a location right here in Seabrook. It’s also a dog-friendly restaurant, so if you’re staying in one of our pet-friendly rentals, it’s the perfect pick. They even have a gallery of all their doggy visitors!

You can catch a gorgeous sunset from the pier at the Salty Dog while you enjoy classic staples like fish and chips, fish tacos, or bow-wow shrimp. Make sure to stop by for happy hour from 4 to 6 PM daily!

Sunrise Bistro

Sunrise Bistro is a classic restaurant over on St. John’s Island. You’ll probably pass right by it on your drive into Seabrook!

The bistro is known for its simple approach to food—they make comforting food without the fuss, like your mother would make it. Breakfast favorites (available all day) include French toast, enchiladas rancheros, homemade bagels, open-faced omelets, and breakfast pizzas. It’s a local favorite, but don’t just take our word for it! Check it out for yourself on your trip here in Seabrook.

Tattooed Moose

Head over to Tattooed Moose on St. John’s Island for fantastic happy hours, live music, and great beer. Tattooed Moose offers delicious pub food like duck fat fries (French fries hand cut and fried in duck fat), homemade pimento cheese, jumbo wings, or even a basket of corn dogs. In short, they serve up delicious fried food in all its glory. There are salad options if that’s more up your alley, though!

If you can leave any room for dessert, try the Big Ole Chocolate Cake or one of the rotating cheesecakes. There are also soft-serve ice cream cones! Beyond the craving-inducing food menu, Tattooed Moose has plenty of drink options, too. Enjoy specials like $2-$3 beers from 4-7 PM, Monday-Saturday.

There are even exciting events like an Oyster Roast and a regular live music schedule on Wednesdays from 6-9 and Saturdays and Sundays from 3-6. Have we convinced you to try this place yet? We sure can’t wait to go.
