The Bay Pointe Villas private community on Seabrook Island sits on the very edge - a peninsula open to the natural serenity of the marsh. The gated community offers a private dock to launch kayaks, go crabbing, watch dolphins, or enjoy the breath-taking sunsets each evening. You can observe the shrimp boats across the river departing from historic Rockville, as well as the sailboats drifting out from the Bohicket Marina. The tranquil Bay Pointe community pool & grilling area is just a few steps away and sits beneath the foliage of the live oak trees. Marsh House’s charming and updated open layout is comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is well-equipped featuring granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and both regular brew and Keurig coffee makers. A dining area with seating for 4 is adjacent to the kitchen. The living room area is full of natural light and highlighted by a queen sleeper sofa, wall mounted 55" HD smart tv equipped with Roku and sliding doors leading to the screened porch.
You'll love spending time on the screened porch with comfortable lounge seating for 2 and a ceiling fan to circulate the coastal breeze. The ecosystem indiginous to the region will come to life before you in every sense - from the swelling of the tide beneath the marsh grasses to the array of exotic birds landing on the oak branch in front of you. Birds, deer, alligators, turtles, bobcats, and dolphins are some of the fauna that have made this island home for over hundreds of years. You have a front-row view to the wildlife of the Island from the comfort of your screened porch.
The master bedroom has a king bed with another set of sliding doors accessing the screened porch. You can open the drapes and watch the sunrise from bed - the sky envelops the light of the sun and warmth floods into the bedroom. The full bathroom features a walk in shower, large vanity area and hair dryer. There is also a full sized washer/dryer for your convenience.
The Bay Pointe Villa gated community is located toward the front entrance to Seabrook Island which makes it an ideal location to enjoy all the island has to offer. The Bay Pointe Villas community pool, charcoal grill and a dock with kayak rack. Hop on a bike and you can be just about anywhere in minutes. You’re a quick walk or bike ride to Freshfields Village, the Bohicket Marina, Seabrook Island Lake House or Equestrian Center. The Freshfields Village offers high end refined shopping and dining. This quaint area features an incredible selection of cuisine, wine & craft beer, as well as a Harris Teeter grocery store with fresh produce and anything you may need. The local coffee shop and bookstore are sure to satiate your need to nestle up with a cup of coffee and a good book. Freshfields additionally hosts a variety of activities throughout the year such as outdoor movies on the lawn, farmers markets, local wine & beer tastings, craft fairs, and much more. The Bohicket Marina is the central location for many of the island’s activities such as boating, sailing, jet ski/kayak rentals, and fishing charters. **NEW- As of January 1, 2023, Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.
Coastal Getaways is including 2 passes per property at no charge to guests.
- Additional gate passes are $40/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
- Gate pass name information for each car is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of the additional $40/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
- Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.
Remember – 2 passes are included in your rent. We will need the name of 1 person per car for each pass. Once the car has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive.
Seabrook Island has three and half miles of pristine white sand beaches for you to enjoy. Amenity Cards allowing you access to the exclusive facilities of the Seabrook Island Club are available for purchase at a daily or weekly fee. The Beach Club (open seasonally) boasts two oceanfront pools and the Pelican’s Nest oceanfront restaurant & bar. There’s no better place on the island to grab lunch, a cold drink and watch the dolphins swim by. The Island House has a restaurant and bar as well as world class golf and tennis for you to play (additional fees apply). The Lake House facilities include a full service fitness center with an indoor lap pool and outdoor pool. The Tennis Club has several tennis courts and pickleball courts for your enjoyment (additional fees apply).
For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, guests will be refunded an amount equal to the new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest’s under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
For monthly rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, guests will be refunded an amount equal to the new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest’s under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
